This inverter has an integrated DC isolator and is ideal for installations which do not have separate DC isolator(s).

For systems that have one string of panels (i.e. one pair of cables from the solar panels).

If your system has two strings AND they are oriented in the same direction AND the combined open circuit voltage does not exceed 600V then you can use this inverter by connecting the strings in series. Don't do this with 72-cell panels such Sanyo or Panasonic. Ask us if you're unsure.
