Car Batteries By Technology

There are 3 different type of battery used within cars, standard lead acid batteries, EFB batteries and AGM batteries. Each of the different battery types offer a varied level of performance.

AGM and EFB batteries are suitable for vehicles with higher power demands and new vehicle technologies such as parking sensors, heated seats and start/stop. Standard lead acid batteries are most suited for non start stop vehicles.

Make sure that you replace your battery with at least like for like, if you downgrade your battery, you could find that your battery fails very quickly or that certain features in your car do not work properly.
